Samsung is working on the Galaxy S23 series of smartphones that are slated for release in early 2023. The series will initially include the vanilla Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices. OnLeaks has shared a digital display of the top dog of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, giving us a fair idea of its design. Also, it is expected to pack in an improved processor. Let’s look at its design and specifications in detail.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: Design (Rumoured)
According to the latest OnLeaks renders, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could be packed in a thin metal frame to reduce the device’s clutter and improve ergonomics. OnLeaks previously expected the Galaxy S23 Ultra to feature slimmer bezels compared to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, Lester now claims that the new smartphone will come in the same size as the Galaxy S22 Ultra bezel.
I got some information about the S23 Ultra, it doesn’t have the symmetrical bezels like the CD rendering, it still has a narrow forehead and a wide chin like the S22 Ultra. The laser focus sensor and the camera unit are not the 3X lens. Flat, and there is still a little swelling. pic.twitter.com/rR6oKkShQu

This comes after tipster Ice Universe pointed out the issues with the previous work shared by OnLeaks. Ice Universe’s bezels and display size remain the same. The tip added that, as per popular opinion, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will not come with flash-equipped camera sensors. They protrude a little from the back panel.
The smartphone also features a center-focused hole-punch camera notch on the display. The power button and volume rockers are placed on the right side of the screen. The USB Type-C port and speaker grill are placed at the bottom of the device. Not only that, it comes with a slot to stop the S Pen.
Samsung Galaxy S23: Performance
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with Exynos 2200 processor in Europe and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor in other regions. Neither chipset was known for sustained gaming performance. Things may change with the Samsung Galaxy S23, though, as it could be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
The vanilla Samsung Galaxy S23 was recently spotted on Geekbench sporting Qualcomm’s new flagship mobile processor. The smartphone has a single-core score of 1524 and a multi-core score of 4597. Samsung Galaxy S22 series is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and usually scores 1200 in single core and 3300 in multi-core. So, there is some confusion in the performance aspect. However, we advise you to take such a drain with a grain of salt.
