Notably, the Exynos Galaxy S22 lineup was in Asia and Europe as these eligible devices were the only sold state-of-the-art box powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The update goes with the number S90xU1UEU2BVJA and brings massive new features and changes to this year’s flagship three.
Separately, carrier-locked models from Verizon have been updated a day after the Exynos Galaxy S22 (Ultra) hit. Users under the network will see the firmware version on S908USQU2BVJA.
OneUI 5.0 is heavy on customization.
In its One UI 5 clip, Samsung highlighted the big customization features added with the Android 13 update. For starters, customizing lock screens is now quite extensive, from fonts and widgets to wallpapers and videos. There is also a rich theme with users with automatic or manual color palette selection.
In the home screen, overlay widgets are now enabled. But this feature appeared on the Galaxy S22 as a smart gadget. Samsung is now bringing this to other Galaxy handsets with OneUI 5. In addition to this new look, the fifth iteration of OneUI focuses on security, privacy and performance.
