Anker Soundcore not only introduced wireless headphones that can track your heart rate, but also launched a sleep-monitoring version. The Soundcore Sleep A10 buds are the company’s first noise canceling sleep headphones that come with low-frequency sounds and an in-ear alarm.
- Anker Soundcore introduces Sleep Headphones.
- The new Soundcore Sleep A10 buds can track your sleep.
- They are available for $180.
Unlike the trunk-oriented design of the Soundcore Liberty 4, the Soundcore Sleep A10 headphones have a compact profile. Each side comes with dual ear tips paired with flexible ear wings for added passive noise cancellation. Coupled with a dynamic noise-muffling function, the headphones can limit noise levels up to 35 decibels, according to Anker.
In terms of sound output, in-ear headphones use a dynamic sound driver rather than a magnetic type. This makes it suitable for white noise and sleep-inducing sounds due to the low frequency effect. There’s also a Smart Switch feature that automatically switches the headphones to white noise when it detects you’re falling asleep.
In addition to managing sleep data, users can access free libraries or stream sleep audio tracks from the Soundcore mobile app. In addition, the sleep earphones act as an in-ear alarm clock that can be set from the app. Connectivity to other sources is also available via Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Supported audio codecs are limited to SBC and AAC.
Soundcore Sleep A10 battery life and price
Soundcore’s Sleep A10 headphones get up to 10 hours of battery life in sleep mode and much less when playing music. The charging case itself adds an additional 40 hours of playback for a total of 50 hours. Unfortunately, wireless charging is not supported. But you get a USB-C port that can fully charge the juice of the case in 2 hours.
The new Soundcore Sleep A10 sleep headphones list for $180, which are more expensive than the Soundcore Space A40 or Liberty 4 at $100 and $150 respectively.
