We’re still fresh from Apple’s iPhone 14 launch, but new rumors are already suggesting that next year’s iPhone 15 Pro duo will get striking differences between each model. Two well-known leakers have hinted at their predictions about the bigger iPhone 15 Pro Max’s special feature, possibly in the form of the Ultra moniker.
- Apple is said to be about to launch an iPhone Ultra model.
- The Pro Max could be replaced by the iPhone 15 Ultra.
- It can also only sport the Periscope camera.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reinforced earlier allegations that the 2023 iPhone 15 Pro Max will only benefit from a periscope camera. In a recent tweet, Apple detailed that the iPhone 15 Pro will be different from the Pro Max except for the width, so that the Cupertino behemoth can make more profit. He also added that the regular iPhones lag behind the Pro models in terms of features.
The first iPhone Ultra model
Watch Ultra introduced, it may not take long for the Cupertino behemoth to offer a similar brand to the iPhone lineup. In addition, Mark Gurman has not revealed which iPhone generation will be coming, but he believes that an ‘Ultra’ iPhone is already in the works. In this case, we don’t rule out the possibility that Apple may finally ditch the Pro Max in favor of the iPhone 15 Ultra.
Aside from the periscopic lens, the Ultra device may adopt the Dynamic Island pill-shaped cutout that debuted with the iPhone 14 Pro. The rumored USB-C may eventually replace the Lightning port permanently, but for all iPhone 15 models. And just like this year’s lineup, only the premium Pro Duo will get the unannounced A17 chipset.
