Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off on June 5, 2023 with a keynote address.
The WWDC23 schedule has been announced, featuring an exciting online event for Apple developers around the world.
Today, Apple shared more information with developers about what to learn and experience at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, including keynote sessions and State of the Union presentations. Free to all developers, WWDC23 will be held in an online format from June 5 to 9, giving developers and students the opportunity to celebrate in person with a unique opening day experience at Apple Park. A packed week of events and activities will help developers learn about new technologies, tools and frameworks coming to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS. Throughout the week, developers can connect directly with Apple engineers and experts through one-on-one labs and activities in Slack to get guidance on building innovative and cross-platform apps and games.

The biggest and most exciting WWDC23 kicks off with a first look at exciting updates coming to Apple’s platforms later this year. The memorial address will be available via on-demand playback on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app and YouTube following the conclusion of the stream.
Forums State of the Union

Developers learn how to take their apps to the next level by taking a deep dive into the latest tools, technologies and developments across Apple platforms. Platform State of the Union is released through the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.
Apple Design Awards
June 5, 6:30 p.m. PDT
The Apple Design Awards recognize and celebrate the art, craft, creativity and technical expertise of the Apple developer community. Winners of this year’s Apple Design Awards will be announced via the Apple Developer app and website.
Access to experts
Featuring 175 in-depth session videos, WWDC23 will bring together new tools and technologies to give developers a chance to learn how to create the next generation of apps and games. Developers can get answers to their technical, design and App Store questions — including how to improve their app’s presence on the store — in one-on-one online Lab appointments with Apple experts. From June 6-9, session videos will be posted daily on the Apple Developer app and Apple Developer website.
Activities
In addition to session videos and one-on-one labs, Apple engineers and designers will host activities online throughout the week in Slack to help developers have technical discussions, get answers to their questions, and connect with each other. Participate in a technology or design Q&A, watch a session video and ask the presenter questions, or build community in an icebreaker activity.
Developer app
The Apple Developer app is a great way to watch WWDC23 on Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, with daily updates and notifications of the latest news, content and activities. Developers can browse content by topic, sign up for online Slack-based activities and one-on-one labs, watch videos with friends using SharePlay, copy code from session videos to Xcode, read feature stories, and more.
