Oppo’s sub-brand, Realme, is gearing up to launch the new Realme 10 series soon. Initially, it might include the vanilla Realme 10 and Realme 10 Pro. Chinese leaker WhyLab has managed to get its hands on a promotional material of the Realme 10 series that reveals its design, color options and some key specifications. The Realme 10 series will be launched alongside the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series and will be launched in 2018. It will be launched at the 10th China Mobile Global Partner Conference on November 3, 2022.
Is the Realme 10 looking to lure buyers away from the Redmi Note 12?
The Realme 10 series smartphones carry a familiar design language. The squarish camera island now has two circular rings that house the triple rear camera sensors. Instead of opting for a flat-sided design, Realme continues with rounded edges for its new smartphones.
The rear design is similar to the iQOO Z6 series of smartphones and has an overall feel. The Redmi Note 12 is also expected to follow the previous design language. Copies to customer preference. Going by the image, the vanilla Realme 10 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which is an updated version of the popular Helio G96 chipset, albeit with superior energy efficiency. Helio G99 powers devices like Poco M5 4G, Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G, Moto G72 and Infinix Note 12 2023 in India. Unfortunately. This chipset does not have 4G and indicates that the vanilla Realme 10 will be a 4G device. In terms of optics, it sports a 64 MP primary sensor.
The other model pictured, which we believe is the Realme 10 Pro, is powered by MediaTek’s latest mid-range chip, the Dimensity 1080.
