If you feel the Galaxy S24 isn’t enough of an upgrade, you can get the Galaxy S23 – it has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset instead of the Exynos. Amazon UK has it for £600 (this is after the £150 voucher) for the 8/256GB unit and is a huge saving compared to the S24.
But before you do that, check out the Galaxy S24. The price drops to £810 (after a £50 voucher) for the same 8/256GB configuration but comes with free Galaxy Buds2 Pro (worth around £200) and Galaxy SmartTag2 (£22 or more).
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra have similar deals to the Buds2 Pro and SmartTag2, except their vouchers are £100.
Another new one is the Samsung Galaxy A25. This mid-ranger runs on the older Exynos 1280, but overall it has a 6.5-inch 120Hz AMOLED display (FHD+), a 50+8+2MP camera setup, a microSD slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a 5,000mAh battery. Charging at 25W.
As an alternative to the Galaxy S23, there is no phone (2). The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is older, but the 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz display is an LTPO panel – something Samsung finally added to the S24 and S24+. It also has a 50MP main camera joined by a 50MP ultra wide (even the S24 Ultra only has a 12MP UW camera). It also packs a 4,700mAh battery with 15W wireless charging in addition to 45W wired charging.
The clear beauty of the phone is combined with any earphone (2). These TWS buds are convenient, but the sound quality and noise cancellation could have been better. Battery life was also disappointing.
This offer is often multiplied enough – Google Pixel 7a is paired with a 30W charger. Although its 6.1-inch 90Hz AMOLED display (FHD+) and 50+13MP camera aren’t the most impressive, the dog’s slow charging (18W wired, 7.5W wireless) makes it a solid mid-range monitor. That said, £330 is the lowest we’ve ever seen this combo.
The Honor 90 Lite is another center console, this one with a large 6.7-inch 90Hz display, this time an IPS LCD. On the plus side, it has a 100MP main camera. On the downside, 5MP is extremely wide. The phone is powered by Dimensity 6020 and a 4,500mAh battery with 35W charging.
The Honor 90 has upgraded to a 200MP main (1/1.4-inch sensor) and 12MP ultra-wide, plus a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera (100°). The 6.7-inch display is now a 10-bit 120Hz AMOLED (1,200 x 2,664px). The 5,0000mAh battery is big and fast with 66W charging.
LCD fans looking for a new tablet can check out the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ – 10.9″ and 12.4″ respectively, both with 90Hz IPS LCDs. Both are powered by Exynos 1380 and have 8,000mAh and 10,090mAh batteries with 45W charging. There’s no DeX on these two, but they’re IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and come with an S Pen.
If you’re looking for a cheap tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 has an 8.7-inch LCD (1,340 x 800 pixels) and runs on the Helio G99 chip. It has a microSD slot and stereo speakers. The 5,100mAh battery is small and slow (15W charging).
