According to a recent report by a Korean news outlet, Samsung plans to sell the Galaxy S24 trio at the same price as its predecessors, the Galaxy S23 line. Additionally, a separate report appears to confirm the emergency satellite text feature for the S24 series.
We’ve heard plenty of rumors about the latter, but this leaked screenshot clears all doubts. The unnamed Galaxy S24 phone, like the latest iPhones and some Huawei phones, will apparently support emergency text messaging via satellite connection.

The report claims that all Galaxy S24 phones will support the new emergency feature, regardless of chipset. The Korean tech giant will meet the 3GPP requirements for connectivity with the Galaxy S24 series, but it remains to be seen whether it will be available in all markets from the get-go.
As for the pricing, the smartphone maker is said to be aiming to maintain the same price as last year. That’s because it believes it can boost sales in a recovering market by being competitive by offering more features than its competitors at the same or lower price.
The goal is to realize 10% more sales than last year by shipping a total of 33 million units.
While Samsung managed to keep the price down by using the Exynos 2400 chip for its vanilla and Plus models in some markets, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 everywhere.
