Honor recently launched a tablet in the Indian market called the Honor Pad 8. The brand doesn’t seem to be done with its launch yet for the year. The new Honor X6s has been launched in the global market, as a new variant of the X6 series. As another affordable option, it remains to be seen how well the Honor X6s will fare in markets like India.

As far as the design is concerned, the new Honor X6s is similar to the previously launched Honor X6. This includes a rectangular camera module on the back and a water drop display. Here are the full specifications and specifications of the new Honor X6s.

Features of Honor X6s

The newly launched Honor X6s features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G25 processor powers the new Honor smartphone with 4GB of RAM. Storage options include 64GB and 128GB of in-built memory, which can be further expanded via microSD card.

At the back, the Honor X6s has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture. There are also a pair of 2MP sensors for macro shots and depth assist. Honor includes a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

For security purposes, the Honor X6s houses a fingerprint reader on the power button on the right spine of the device. It also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with standard 10W charging support. The new Honor smartphone runs Magic UI 6.1 on Android 12 operating system.

The Honor X6s includes connectivity options like dual SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, NFC support, USB-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. The new smartphone also supports face unlock feature.

Honor X6s price, availability

While the Honor X6s will be launched in the global market, its price and availability are still under wraps. Buyers can choose from Ocean Blue and Titanium Silver colors. The India launch and availability of the new Honor smartphone is also unclear.

In India, many smartphones with Helio G25 SoC are available like Infinix Hot 10 Play, Moto E7 and Tecno Pova Neo. The Honor X6s were the first in India to be priced at Rs. 12,000. Since the brand recently launched a tab, we can expect more launches from Hon despite the rumors of an exit from India.
