Infinix has added the new Infinix Note 12 2023 to its Note 12 series of smartphones. It will replace the Note 12 2022, which was launched earlier in 2022, and will bring an improved design and improved processor. Another big change is the chipset of the device. The Note 12 2023 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset as opposed to the original Note 12’s Helio G88. The Helio G99 is built on a more powerful and significantly more efficient 6nm manufacturing process compared to Helio’s 12nm manufacturing. The G88 should allow the Note 12 2023 to draw more battery backup from the same 5000mAh battery, which also powers the Note 12.

The Infinix Note 12 2023 inherits the rest of the features from its predecessor. It features a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 393 ppi density and 1000nits brightness. It comes with a teardrop notch on the display and a screen-to-body ratio of 86 percent.

The Infinix Note 12 2023 is a fairly thin device with a thickness of 7.8mm, but it weighs 195 grams compared to the Note 12, which weighs 184.5 grams. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button like before.

The Infinix Note 12 2023 has been sold for $199 (approximately ₹16,500) in international markets. It comes in Volcanic Grey, Tuscany Blue and Alpine White colors.
