Huawei has introduced the Nova 10 series to the global market at IFA 2022 in Berlin. We attended the conference and keynote and got some hands-on time to get a first-hand look at the Pro version.
Now that the nova 10 Pro is with us at HQ and we’ve revealed its most impressive specs at a glance, what Huawei is packing inside the box.
The Nova series has always been design-oriented, and the 10 Pro is as stylish as a smartphone can get. Our unit has a sliding panel in silver with the Nova logo embossed on it. The power button has a neat red accent and the whole device fits nicely in the palm.
The body is surprisingly thin for a phone like this, but the triple-tier camera island is pretty bloated. Not only does it allow the bulk to swing on a flat surface, but it also makes the phone stand tall.
The color gold is generally accepted as a symbol of luxury and prestige in China, and Huawei has gone to great lengths to highlight the nova 10 Pro’s sleekness. The Silver part has the most gold of all, the outer ring and the circle around the main camera in the middle.
The color is also present in the default wallpaper, and since the phone ships with EMUI 12 (instead of HarmonyOS), there’s a theme app that can even decorate the icons.
Huawei nova 10 Pro
The Nova 10 Pro has the same chipset as the Nova 9 Pro with LTE limited. We like that there is a 100W charger with the appropriate cable in the box and a clear plastic case. Once you put that on the phone, the camera bump is still there, but it stands out a lot less.
We gave the Huawei nova 10 Pro to our review staff. Once you’re done with the tests and verdict, the full review will be up and running.
