Huawei Watch GT 3 SE launched without fans. The Watch GT 3 SE is a stripped down and less dramatic version of the Watch GT 3 that we reviewed late last year. Regardless, the new GPS smartwatch offers affordable health and sports functionality at an affordable price.

The Huawei Watch GT 3 SE is built on a 46mm case with a combination of dials and buttons on the outside with compact touchpads. This makes the smartwatch incredibly low premium. Likewise, you still get a 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen protected by Gorilla Glass, which is the same as the regular model.
Despite its unappealing appearance, Huawei sees the SE model as a lightweight polymer fiber construction. At 35.6 grams, the Watch GT 3 SE is 5 grams or 16 percent lighter than the more expensive GT 3. Additionally, the watch features 5ATM water resistance, but is only available in Graphite Black or Desert Green color options.
Up to 100+ exercise modes
In terms of health monitoring, the Watch GT 3 SE Huawei TruSeen 5.0+ offers optical heart rate reading with anti-interference technology, as well as blood oxygen level and sleep monitoring. Like other smartwatches, there are also stress and period predictions. Users can also set daily reminders, such as when to wake up or take medication.
As for the fitness department, the smartwatch comes with 100+ sports modes. Unfortunately, there is no sport or intelligence to be gained. Instead, Huawei is shipping the Huawei TruSport personal trainer.

2-week battery life on the Huawei Watch GT 3 SE
The device’s battery life is 14 days with moderate use and is on par with the Watch GT 3. Amazingly, it supports wireless charging as well as wired charging.
Huawei Watch GT 3 SE runs on Harmony OS 2 and is compatible with Android and iOS. Basic smart features such as quick responses, answering/rejecting calls and Bluetooth music control are available.

Huawei Watch GT 3 SE price and availability
The Huawei Watch GT 3 SE is slated for a global release with no mention of the US market. Pre-orders for the smartwatch are already open and will cost €179 in Europe. On the other hand, the device is expected to ship from November 6.
