Days after Apple unveiled the iPhone 14 series, rumor mills have started circulating rumors and speculations about the next iteration — the iPhone 15. A new leak shows that the iPhone 15 series will include four models, including an Ultra variant. The alleged iPhone 15 Ultra will support 8K video recording, periscope lens and more improvements.
The features of the iPhone 15 Ultra are indicated
Currently, the iPhone 14 series has replaced the Mini variant with the “Plus” model. The lineup includes iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
A new leak from tipster LeaksApplePro suggests that Apple may drop the Pro Max name and replace it with the Ultra. The leak echoes an earlier report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This means the iPhone 15 lineup includes the base variant, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra.
The tip also says that the alleged iPhone 15 Ultra will feature several upgrades. This includes 8K video recording support, which can also be seen on the iPhone 15 Pro. One can expect the next-gen A17 Bionic SoC based on the upcoming 3nm process on the iPhone 15 Ultra and Pro variants.
Here’s what I shared with my subscribers about the iPhone 15 three days ago:
– All four models come with usb-c and Dynamic Island
-iPhone 15 comes with A16, while 15 Pro comes with A17. I will collect information about this chip and share it with you soon.

iPhone 15 lineup to show Periscope camera
Renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also speculated on two aspects of the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup. For one, the analyst says the next-generation iPhones will feature a periscope camera that supports 5x or 6x optical zoom.
Additionally, a few reports suggest that all the models in the iPhone 15 lineup will feature the flexible notch that was introduced in the iPhone 14 series. But the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus still might not get the always-on display or promotional support.
Moreover, the iPhone 15 series is said to switch to USB Type-C charging instead of the traditional Lightning port. The move comes to comply with EU laws to reduce the amount of e-waste. At the moment these are just speculations and should be taken with a grain of salt.
