Apple’s iOS 17 introduces many changes and new features to its iPhones, creating a lot of excitement, especially when it comes to the ultimate call button for voice calls. Apparently, the latest beta may indicate that the iPhone manufacturer has completed the placement of the call screen in iOS 17, which will be released to the public in September.
The first iOS 17 beta showed the layout of the call screen with the final call button occupying the same bottom row as the other buttons, albeit in the middle. However, in iOS 17 beta 5, Apple moved the end call button to the bottom right side, confusing most of the users using the beta software. To make things more complicated, iOS 17 Beta 6 moved the button to the center.
In comparison, iOS 16 kept the last call button separate from the other buttons. Basically, the current iPhones end call button is located at the bottom of the screen and the other six shortcuts float in the middle.
Thankfully, with the latest beta 7 released today to developers and public testers, the mid-range Last Call has retained its place. To make it more intuitive, the update also repositions the end call key in the middle of the keyboard, suggesting that the Cupertino company may follow this layout in the final version of iOS 17.
While the button changes may be minor, users will have to adjust themselves to the layout, especially those jumping directly from iOS 16 to iOS 17. Additionally, the upcoming iOS 17 version will bring a lot of opportunity for the new Contact Poster feature.
iOS 17 beta 7 brings a few changes, such as an improvement in the use of conversational awareness when using AirPods Pro 2. This means that Apple will iron out most of the issues in beta before rolling out the iOS 17 software update to all eligible iPhones. Tools. More release details may be announced at Apple’s iPhone 15 event, which is rumored to start on September 12.
