iQOO seems to be leaking information and images of the iQOO Neo 7 as it is set to launch in China on October 20, 2022. The Vivo sub-brand has already revealed the rear of the new device. Now, the latest teaser reveals the complete design of the face.
As expected, the IQOO Neo 7, like the iQOO Neo 6, gets a centrally placed punch-hole camera cutout on the display. . The company also revealed key details about the display. Let’s see them below.
iQOO Neo 7: display
iQOO has confirmed that its latest affordable flagship device, the iQOO Neo 7, will sport a Samsung E5-level AMOLED display. According to the report, it will be a 6.62-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device packs a Pro+ display chip to further enhance display colors and increase frames during gaming.

Moving to the back of the handset, the iQOO Neo 7 comes in iQOO’s signature orange color. The back panel is finished in leather for a premium look and feel. Standard models may get a rear glass panel with a different finish. Additionally, there is a square camera island similar to its predecessor. However, it gets a telephoto sensor which is absent in the iQOO Neo 6. The telephoto sensor sits above the LED flash.
The smartphone is expected to come with a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary sensor along with 13MP ultrawide and 12MP telephoto sensors. The device may come with at least a 16 MP snapper for selfies and video calling tasks.
The iQOO Neo 7 in China is speculated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ flagship processor. Samsung’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (iQOO Neo 6 China) suffered from overheating and overclocking issues, so it seems the company is playing on MediaTek’s chipset. Additionally, the device was spotted earlier on the Geekbench benchmarking website, scoring 1231 points in single-core and 4251 points in multi-core tests. It comes equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
As per the rumor mills, the iQOO Neo 6 will be powered by a 5,000mAh dual cell with 120W fast charging. The smartphone is likely to come with Android 13 based home OS installed out of the box in China.
