Xiaomi is expected to announce 13 series of flagship smartphones by the end of 2022 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. A new processor, and an improved camera setup.

According to the leak, the Xiaomi 13 will have a 6.38-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, which is slightly larger than the display on the Xiaomi 12. To Xiaomi 12 Pro.

The leak also hints that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will have a new CPU cluster with a 1+2+2+3 core architecture. Based on this information, Xiaomi 13 may have a slightly larger footprint compared to Xiaomi 12. But when it comes to Xiaomi 13 Pro, it is expected to match the dimensions of Xiaomi 12 Pro. Earlier leaks confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro will have a slightly modified camera setup. The triple camera module on the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro houses three high-quality camera sensors, including a very wide-angle and telephoto lens.

While the display on the Xiaomi 13 Pro may look similar to the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the latter is expected to have improvements in aspects such as higher brightness, HDR capability, color and contrast. Other than the display specifications, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are expected to have similar features and specifications. Both the phones are based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM and over 256 GB of internal storage with dual SIM card slots supporting 5G network.

These smartphones are also expected to ship Android 13 with a custom MIUI 14 skin on top. The smartphones are expected to offer an improved camera app, which should allow the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro to get the most out of their new camera system.
