Apple has recently done something about it and started supporting copyright repair laws. It’s also done a lot to make iPhones easier to repair — last year’s iPhone 14 got a 7/10 repairability score, mostly because it made it easier to replace the rear glass panel for the new design. This design has now been adapted to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
This has very real benefits for consumers – replacing a cracked rear glass panel has gone from outrageously expensive to standard cost. Seriously, this iPhone 14 Pro Max repair costs $550! It’s a very reasonable $200 for the 15 Pro Max. Here’s a more detailed description:

Although not everything is good, replacing the batteries on the new Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 is now very expensive – it costs $ 100, compared to $ 80 for the previous models of the series. Replacing the battery on the iPhone 15 series will still cost $100, though.
