The iPhone SE may not be dead after all. In December, we heard that the iPhone SE 4 would use the iPhone 14 battery, following early 2023 reports that Apple was done with affordable pricing. Previously, we’ve seen the next-gen model with an iPhone XR-like design, complete with a notch.
Today, a new rumor claims that the next iPhone SE will not feature any notch, instead Apple will choose to equip the Dynamic Island cutout and various functions first seen in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
You can see what it looks like in the picture above. The SE sticks with just one rear camera, otherwise adopting the modern iPhone design. In fact, the new SE may share many looks with the upcoming iPhone 16. The dimensions of the SE will be very close to the XR.
Even the source of it all warns us to take it all with a pinch of salt and that’s what we should do. Apple has so far introduced a new SE model every two years, and the latest one is until March 2022 – which means that the follow-up should arrive next month, but since we have no concrete information about it, we are inclined to think that Apple still needs some time to complete it.
In fact, the next SE could only arrive in 2025 after the iPhone 16 launches this fall. A BOE-made display is maintained throughout the landing.
