Redmi’s event today saw the announcement of the K70e, K70 and K70 Pro smartphones. The most premium of those got a special edition in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
To celebrate 10 years in the smartphone world, Redmi has teamed up with Lamborghini’s racing division to create the Redmi K70 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse Edition. It just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it?
The difference between this stunning variant and the standard K70 Pro comes down to three things, and the design is definitely clearer. The camera island is not a rectangle but an inverted convex pentagon. The shape is indicative of the sharp lines of Lamborghini, but the rest of the panel is still plastic. Two-tone green or yellow colors and a carbon pattern is just a sticker under the protective panel.
On the software side, this limited edition will have a custom Lamborghini Squadra Corse theme as part of the HyperOS interface. The car behind the promo images is the Essenza SCV12 – a track-only hypercar with a V12 engine – and we’re guessing that’s in the theme too.
You should know that this isn’t your typical Lamborghini design, like the one-of-a-kind Oppo Find X smartphone from five years ago.

This custom-designed Redmi K70 Pro is identical to the regular one on the inside – Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, and 120W charging for a 5,000 mAh battery.
The last difference is that the device comes with only 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The price is yet to be announced and we assume this variant won’t make it outside of China.
