Redmi is introducing the Note 13 family to the Indian market on January 4, which is more than a week before we know much. But what is not officially confirmed is which members of the extended family we should expect to land in India.
Today, the brand’s Indian arm unveiled one of its flagships: the Redmi Note 13 Pro, perhaps unsurprisingly. Redmi has named it directly in the new. A teaser will be posted on X.And it also has a dedicated website to tease the launch.
There, we got confirmation that the Indian Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, just like the Chinese model. This is actually, as Redmi proudly boasts, the world’s first smartphone to use that SoC. We also get confirmation that the back is made of glass. It looks like the next feature will be revealed tomorrow.
But let’s spoil the Redmi party. Since the chipset is the same, maybe the entire phone that will be launched in India will be the same as its Chinese cousin? If so, expect it to sport a 6.67-inch 1,220×2,712 120 Hz OLED touchscreen with 1,800-nit peak brightness, 8/12/16GB RAM, 128/256/512GB storage, triple rear camera (200MP). The main one with OIS, 8 MP ultra-wide, 2 MP macro), 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,100 mAh battery with 67W wired charging.
