Samsung has launched its entry-level smartphone – Galaxy A04 in India. This budget smartphone is the first under the Galaxy A04 series in the country. It features a polycarbonate back and a triple-camera setup at the back. The phone is available for purchase through the official Samsung website and other portals.
Samsung Galaxy A04 has been launched in one variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. The device is priced at Rs. 13,499 and is available with exciting launch offers. Buyers using SBI credit card for the purchase will get Rs. 1,000 cashback. Similarly, Slice and One Card users will get Rs. 1,000 cashback.
Samsung Galaxy A04 specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy A04 offers a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device comes with a single speaker and support for Dolby Atmos on wired and Bluetooth headphones.
Under the hood, the budget Samsung smartphone uses an Exynos 850 SoC along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space with a microSD card slot that supports up to 1TB of additional storage. There is support for 4GB virtual RAM using internal storage space.
For imaging, the Samsung Galaxy A04 uses a triple camera setup at the back. This camera unit houses a 50MP primary sensor with two 2MP sensors for depth and macro photography. Up front, at the notch on the Infinity-V display, is a 5MP selfie camera sensor. Android 12 OS is loaded with OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
The device has support for AI face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It draws power from a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
Recently, the company announced the Galaxy A04 in select global markets as the successor to the Galaxy A03 that was announced last year. The device has a plastic construction and a dual camera setup on the back. This Samsung smartphone misses out on a physical fingerprint sensor. Some features remain the same, including the 50MP primary camera sensor and 5,000mAh battery.
