Samsung has been rolling the ball recently on updates to Android 14 on one UI 6, and if we go by what happened last year, once the ball is rolling, it will not stop until dozens of models are modernized in a matter of weeks.
So far the S23 and S22 families have received their Android 14 service, and today it’s time for some more devices to join them. The Galaxy A54, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 are all receiving the update right now.
The A54 update is being rolled out first by AT&T in the US. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are getting their taste from Verizon America. The Galaxy S23 FE rollout looks to be more global, but so far it only affects models powered by Samsung’s own Exynos SoC. The US model with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 still has a bit of waiting to do.
Now that these updates are available on at least one carrier or one country or another, they will quickly roll out to all carriers and all unlocked units in all countries, don’t worry. As usual in such cases, the releases may be scheduled, so don’t worry if you haven’t received an update notification yet – it should arrive soon.
