Google has chosen Flipkart as its delivery partner for the Pixel 6a in India. Now the smartphone is available at a much lower price of Rs. 34,999 on e-commerce portal Amazon. While Rs. 9,000 cheap price on Amazon may seem sweet to many, Yaz said – the retailer only sells imported units of the Pixel 6A and these are not covered by warranty in India.
Should you buy the Pixel 6a from Amazon?
The Google Pixel 6a has been launched in India after the company stopped launching the Pixel 6 and Pixel 5 series of smartphones in India for two years. At the time of launch, the Pixel 6a was sold at Rs. 43,999 and available at a discount of Rs. 4,000, which brings the effective price to Rs. 39,999.
The price of the smartphone on Flipkart is Rs. 43,999 at present. But there is a discount of Rs. 9,000 on the imported variant of the Pixel 6a via Amazon and you can buy it for Rs. 34,999. Especially if you choose Flipkart, you get a one-year warranty. That means you can’t get any help when there is any problem with the device, so it is recommended that you choose to buy a smartphone or any other product with a warranty.
Is the Pixel 6a worth buying?
It started at Rs. 43,999, the Google Pixel 6a failed to impress Pixel fans as it did not carry a hefty price tag. Nothing failed to impress buyers as the phone (1) and Realme GT Neo 3 caught the attention of buyers.
If you’re considering buying the Pixel 6a, despite the higher price, you’ll get the powerful Tensor chipset, a dual-camera setup on the back, and the new Android 13 operating system. Being a Google phone, it gets at least three years of major Android OS updates. But you won’t get the feel of using a premium or high-end smartphone as it misses out on high refresh rate and comes with a plastic build.
