Galaxy users out there will remember Samsung’s promise to bring One UI 5 and Android 13 to the S22 line in October. The Korean giant seems to be keeping its promise, with reports of S22 Ultra units in Italy receiving the much-desired OTA.

The package in question has S908BXXU2BVJA The firmware version, weighs in at 2854.03 MB and includes the latest October 2022 security patches. This is just the icing on the proverbial cake, though as you can imagine, the changes for this particular update are quite lengthy. - New icons
- New call popup and new notification layout
- New management for device customization (lock screen, wallpapers, new layout of widgets)
- Productivity enhancement (improved multitasking, new possibility to extract and scan text, optimized Samsung Dex and Samsung Notes, Connected Devices)
- Optimized normal mode
- A new sleep mode
- Facilitate privacy and security
Now for the better news – we’re waiting for the stable One UI 5 and Android 13 updates for the S22 family of devices to start rolling out in Europe on Monday, October 24. That’s a few hours away and will be compatible with Samsung. Original hope. Speaking of which, industry sources claim that Samsung will release One UI 5.0 for the Z Fold4, Z Flip4 and the Galaxy S21 family before the end of 2022. From Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. It could also be the Galaxy A53.
