The Pixel Fold was unveiled at Google I/O earlier this month and looks like an interesting rival to the Galaxy Z Fold series, the company’s first foldable phone. Now, it looks like the top-tier variant might be hard to come by in the US.
The Pixel Fold’s pre-order page on the US Google Store lists the $1,919 512GB variant as out of stock. Android headlines), allowing you to choose only the $1,799 256GB base model. Google gives you the option to join the waiting list for the 512GB variant.
It’s also worth noting that the 512GB Pixel Fold appears to be available on Amazon’s website, although the retailer lists a much later June 20 pre-order date. So you better join Google’s waiting list.

We’re not sure how many 512GB models Google offers on its website compared to the 256GB option. We’re guessing the 256GB variants will account for most of the total devices. So to begin with, models below 512GB are theoretically available. Still, this is very encouraging news for Google if the company is offering more 512GB units.
Whichever model you choose, you’re getting a slimmer and sturdier foldable than Samsung’s Fold line. The Pixel Fold brings a Tensor G2 processor, an IPX8 water resistance rating, and an impressive triple rear camera system (at least for foldables).
