We recently announced changes to iOS, Safari, and the App Store that affect developer apps in the EU, including the Digital Markets Act (DMA), more than 600 new APIs, extensive developer tools, and related documents.
And we’ll continue to offer new ways for developers to understand and use these changes, including:
- Online consultations to discuss alternative distribution on iOS, alternative payments on the App Store, linking to purchase on their website, new business terms and more.
- Labs to help develop alternative app marketplaces on iOS.
Developers who agree to the new business terms can now develop Marketplace distribution and Marketplace apps using new features in App Store Connect and the App Store Connect API, and use TestFlight to test these features in beta. TestFlight supports alternative browser engines and alternative payments through payment service providers and web linking applications.
And soon, you’ll be able to see expanded app analytics reports for the App Store and iOS.
