From the leaked Amazon pricing, the Google Pixel 7 could be priced from $599 (roughly Rs. 49,000). On the other hand, the Pixel 7 Pro is said to be priced at $699 (roughly Rs. 57,000). Also, it remains to be seen how much the Pixel 7 series will cost in India.
Google Pixel 7 vs Pixel 7 Pro: Design and display
Both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have a similar design with a rear camera housing that seems to go through the width of these phones. The design seems to be largely inspired by the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, with some improvements. Both the phones appear to have a premium finish and are expected to be IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
The leaked images show that the Pixel phones will come in Ice and Obsidian color options. There are speculations that the Pixel 7 will come in Lemongrass, while the Pro variant will come in Hazel color schemes.
Going forward, these phones are seen to feature a punch hole for the selfie camera sensor. Talking about the display, Google Pixel 7 is said to sport a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Pixel 7 Pro is expected to sport a larger 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
The Pixel 7 Pro is said to have a slightly curved display while the standard variant has a flat display. Both the phones are said to come with brighter displays than their predecessors with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, HDR support and an under-screen fingerprint sensor.

There will be no microSD card slot for expandable storage on these phones. While the battery capacity remains unknown, the Pixel 7 Pro is said to be powered by the same 5,000 mAh battery as the Pixel 6 Pro. It goes without saying that the Pixel 7 will have a slightly smaller battery than the Pro variant. In addition, there may be support for wired and wireless charging.
Google Pixel 7 vs Pixel 7 Pro: Camera
The main difference between both the Google Pixel phones will be in the camera department. The Pixel 7 Pro uses a triple camera system on the back while the Pixel 7 sports a dual camera setup. The Pixel 7 Pro camera is said to have a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom support. In terms of comparison, the Pixel 7 may miss out on a telephoto lens. On the front, both the phones are made to use the same 10.8MP selfie camera sensor.
Apart from this, these phones can have features including Movie Motion Blur, Real Tone, Face Blur and Magic Eraser. With a third sensor, the Pixel 7 Pro is said to feature macro focus paired with a telephoto sensor.
What to expect from the Google Pixel 7 series?
From the leaked specifications, it is clear that both the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will have the same design and similar specifications, except for some improvements in the Pro variant. However, these details and comparisons are based on rumors and leaks. We have to wait for the official announcement to know more about these phones and how they differ in terms of specifications and pricing. One thing we can say for now is that the Pixel 7 will also be a good offering, but the Pro variant will be a pricey premium offering for those looking for more capabilities.
