Apple invites families around the world to join and learn about Apple Camp
The free program will return to the Apple Store every week starting June 20 with a new program to celebrate the planet Earth.
Apple Camp – the popular free program for children and families – returns to the Apple Store area, with weekly sessions from June 20 to August 31. Now in its 20th year, Apple Camp will be back in person with two new ones. – For family clock format, gives participants the opportunity to create their own digital comic book about protecting and honoring the planet. Parents and guardians can now register at apple.co/apple-camp.
“We can’t wait for the camps and their families to burn,” said Deir O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of retail + people. “This unique program has provided a place for communication and learning in our stores around the world for the past 20 years and we are thrilled to re-create these experiences.”
This year, Apple Innovation Pro is leading a new camp movement – an art lab with a comic book adventure with your family. After seeing the history of protecting the planet, the camps and their families took the iPad out for inspiration in their area. Participants use the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil to take photos and draw their own heroic stories with pictures, speech bubbles and stickers.
Apple Camp is designed to engage children between the ages of 8 and 12 with their parents or guardians. The sessions take place in stores and outdoors, and give attendees the opportunity to learn from Apple professionals and each other. Gugu Camp You can participate in this family adventure with equipment provided in the sessions.
In addition to in-store programming, there is a new downloadable camp field guide. This experience includes 20 indoor activities for the iPad, designed to teach and inspire creativity in children and families around the world.
