Bose’s latest line of QuietComfort wireless headphones is here with the new QuietComfort Earbuds II. These come two years after the original version was launched and offer improvements across the board and a smaller footprint.
Bose QC Headphones II
Bose says the new buds are some of the best noise canceling on the market – including both in-ear and over-ear models. The new QC Earbuds II brings CustomTune volume adjustment. Every time you wear the buds, they play a proprietary sound that measures the ear canal’s sound response, making the volume and noise cancellation tailored to your specific hearing needs.
Bose also has two silicone tips – one on the ear piece and the other that acts as a wing on your outer ear to help it fit and seal well. Each earpiece has four microphones, three of which are located on the outside of the earpiece.

ActiveSense is another headline feature. It’s Bose’ transparency mode that uses the powerful hardware and Bose sound algorithms. The new QC Earbuds II bring Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and are also IPX4 water resistant. But they don’t come with multi-point pairing. Battery life is rated at 6 hours on the buds and you get 18 more hours from the charging case. Charging is done through the USB-C port on the case.
Bose QC Earphones II color options
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II start at $299 and come in a triple black color, and you can pre-order a pair from Bose right now. Open sales will start from September 15. A second soapstone color variant will be available later this year.
