A trio of Samsung Galaxy S24 price drops has begun, with discounts ranging from $75 off the Mini to $200 off the Ultra. These phones are supported for 7 years (both OS updates and security patches) so you won't miss out on much by getting it a few months later.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra gets the best discount of $200 on the 256GB and 512GB variants.
This year, the Galaxy S24+ has been bumped up to 12GB of RAM for the Ultra (and the display has gone up to QHD+ resolution). That's a $150 discount on the 256GB and 512GB options.
Amazon doesn't have a discount for the vanilla Galaxy S24, but it does have Best Buy. The discount is only $75, so the difference between the 8/256GB S24 and the 12/256GB S24+ isn't huge. But if you want a smaller Android flagship, you don't have too many options. By the way, Best Buy has the S24+ and S24 Ultra at the same price as Amazon.
A few weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE (Wi-Fi) was priced at $350 for the base 6/128GB unit and $420 for the optional 8/256GB variant. The 128GB tablet is now the same price, but the 256GB has dropped to $380, making the upgrade a no-brainer.
The larger Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ was $500 and $600 for the 8/128GB and 12/256GB models, respectively. Now both are cheaper, including the 128 GB version. Note that 256 GB still has more RAM, but you can do with 8 GB.
Finally, some M3-powered MacBooks. The MacBook Air 13 is 10% off at Amazon compared to the Apple.com price. Note that this one has a basic version of the M3 chip with 8 GPU cores.
The Apple MacBook 14.2†has a similar discount and gets the better Apple M3 chip with 10 GPU cores (both with 8 CPU cores).
You can go even further with the Apple MacBook Pro 16.2†, this one with the M3 Pro chip – 12 CPU cores and 18 GPU cores. You also get more RAM and storage, though the price increases by more than $2,000.
