We’ve got one more Android 12 beta before the big release this month, the next Dave Summit news and some important changes to the Google Play Console. Not a big deal for big news but with Android 12 weeks of official release (or less) this may have been quieter before the hurricane.

Android 12 Beta 5 Update, Official Release Continued! – If September seems a little late, next month will definitely be a big one! A few weeks before the official release of Android 12, Google released an additional beta. This version does not focus on impressive new features but rather serves as a “release candidate” for the final build.
Android Dave Summit will be back from October 27-28, 2021 – the title of this post has not been left out yet, but Google has now set the date for the next Dave Summit. This year, the theme is “Excellent apps, on devices.” In the first post from Google, the app was described as providing “relevance” consistency, effort and “flawless” user experience.
Automatic Resetting Licenses Make Billions More Tools Available – This is a relatively small change for Davis Radar. If your app has not been used for a few months, permissions will be restarted. This change has previously affected users on Android 11 but will now be released to devices running Android 6.0 and above. There are some exceptions and important code changes, so it is important to read the entire post.
Wear OS Jetpack libraries are now stable – the first five Jetpack Web OS libraries are now stable. These are wear-wear, wear-input, wear-on-wear, wear-phone-connections and long-distance interaction. These include UI elements, hardware buttons, notifications, phone compatibility, and Android in order.
