TL; DR
- Fitbit is holding a launch event on August 24.
- The event will showcase the company’s Sense 2 and Versa 4 smartwatches.
Hopefully, you don’t have anything planned for tomorrow because Fitbit has unexpectedly announced that it will be holding a launch event for its smartwatches on August 24.
The announcement came in a recent tweet by the company saying, “Mark your calendars.”
As for what to expect from this launch event, there’s a good chance we’ll see something similar to the Sense 2 and Versa 4 smartwatches, judging by the teaser image.
A couple of weeks ago, the devices appeared in online leaks that showed us not only high-quality renders, but also realistic images of the clocks in the wild. In addition to the Versa 4 and Sense 2, the renders also gave us our first look at the Inspire 3.
From what we know about the Versa 4 and Sense 2, both have a new physical button. The Sense 2 is available in gold, graphite and platinum. The Versa 4 displays in Graphite and Rose.
There are still a lot of details we don’t know about these smartwatches, but it looks like we’ll get answers sooner than expected.
