Based on Android 13, Samsung continues to roll out the update to One UI 5 in a surprising manner. Earlier today we brought you news of the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 getting a stable release, and here we are a few hours later with some more good news, this time aimed at Galaxy A52 owners.
It’s one of the best-selling members of the A-series, and now it’s receiving an update, following in the footsteps of its successor, the A53, which it got last week.
For now, the One UI 5 update based on Android 13 for the Galaxy A52 seems to be rolling out only in one country – Russia. But you know how it is with these things, once the ball gets rolling it doesn’t take long for an update to roll out to different countries and territories.
In Russia, the new build is codenamed A525FXXU4CVJB, and arrives with a November 2022 security patch. The Galaxy A52 launched last year with Android 11 on board, has since received Android 12, and now it’s on its second major Android update, putting it ahead of many of its competitors outside of Samsung’s stable.
