Motorola is currently working on the Moto G85, which will apparently be the successor to the G84 when it hit the streets from last year. And while we don't know when that will happen yet, remember that the G84 was announced last August, so the G85 could still be a ways off.
The G85 is listed in European retail, confirming its launch in Europe, but of course it should be available elsewhere. The G85 is expected to be priced at €300, which is the same launch price as its predecessor, but the downside is that you get 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for that price.
It's not every day that we see such a good amount of memory and storage in such mid-range monitors, so it's definitely a nice development. Unfortunately, no other specifications of the G85 have been released.
Don't expect much, but the G84 has a 6.55-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz OLED touchscreen, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultrawide, 16 MP selfie shooter and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging. The new model should run Android 14 from day one.
