OnePlus 11 has been officially announced in its home market of China ahead of its global launch on February 7. Although the phone may not be professional in name, it is a fully-fledged flagship with the most modern and excellent chipset, memory and cameras.
The SoC is Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and OnePlus executives say the chipset will be fully functional on the platform. Normally that wouldn’t be an interesting comment, but it could indicate that OnePlus has done its best to increase battery life and limit performance in order to control temperatures.
The phone comes with 12GB or 16GB of the latest LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
OnePlus 11 is built with the new 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with 1440p resolution. It can refresh at a refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz, with more than 100 apps promising to support the grain adjustment.
The Hasselblad camera on the back of the OnePlus 11 has been upgraded to a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with multi-directional PDAF and OIS. There’s a 48MP ultra-wide Sony IMX581 shooter with autofocus and a 32MP Sony IMX709 2x telephoto camera to serve up the macro camera.
A 16MP selfie camera is housed in the punch hole at the top left corner.
The camera setup is similar to the Oppo Find N2s, but that’s not surprising since both brands recently announced a new strategic partnership. After reviewing it, we found the performance to be quite impressive and it could do better with the new Snapdragon chip.
The OnePlus 11 battery has the same 5,000mAh capacity as its predecessor. However, at this time, the charging speed of 100W can be reached on the wire. However, wireless charging is not on the menu.
Gamers will appreciate the X-axis vibration motor, which is 602 cu.mm – the largest ever in a smartphone, according to the company’s claims.
