Earlier today, Samsung listed the main features you can expect from the upcoming stable One UI 5 release based on Android 13. While we wait for it to hit phones left and right, the company is running its public beta program and has now given access to four more devices.
We are talking about Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip3, Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra. These four handsets can now taste the upcoming One UI 5 based on Android 13, in the US and Korean Samsung home markets.
As usual, if you have one of the phones and want to try out the One UI 5 beta, you can log into the Samsung Members app and then tap the giant banner at the top that advertises the beta program. Then enter some details and you should be offered an over-the-air update for the beta build normally within minutes – at most you’ll have to wait a few hours for it to arrive.
One UI 5 comes with everything Google packed into Android 13, including overlay widget support, new color options for dynamic themes, new multitasking gestures for split screen, a better My Files app, and a new Bixby Text calling feature that lets you join calls. Text messaging, personalized device settings modes based on situations, support for video wallpapers on the lock screen, and a new Smart Suggestions widget.
