according to Android CentralSome Reddit users are reporting that they were able to update their Skagen Falster Gen 6 watches to Wear OS 3 today. The outlet confirmed the reports by updating a few of its own Skagen Falster Gen 6 units.
According to the report, it looks like Skagen owners will be getting the stock version of Wear OS 3. This will be similar to what the Pixel Watch has, but without the Pixel-specific bezels. Additionally, the update appears to be removing Google Assistant, which makes sense since it’s not supported by Wear OS 3 devices with Snapdragon chips. However, he said he is working with Google to bring Fossil back.
The upgrade is optional, so be aware that the upgrade will require you to factory reset the watch before you start the installation – which will cause you to lose all your data. The notification will warn you of this and provide instructions on how to update.
