The OnePlus 10T is here and it could represent a change in the company’s course. Previous T-models were mid-season upgrades of existing models, but there’s no vanilla OnePlus 10 to upgrade. Instead, the 10T slots into the premium OnePlus offerings.
With Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 this is definitely a flagship, in fact, it’s the fastest OnePlus on the market right now. But the phone has more in common with the OnePlus 10R than it does with the 10 Pro.
The 10T gets Qualcomm’s best, while the 10R has MediaTek’s second-best Dimensity 8100-Max. But other than that they are very similar. Both have flat 6.7-inch FHD+ non-LTPO displays, both have 50+8+2MP cameras with no Hasselblad branding or in-app features, and both lack 150W wired charging and wireless charging.
For comparison, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO2 display, 48MP main, 50MP ultra wide and 8MP telephoto cameras (with Hasselblad benefits) and 80W wired charging versus 65W wireless.

Who is this phone for? is it for you Before you vote on the question, let’s put the price lists down and look at some of the competitors.
The OnePlus 10T will launch on August 25, starting at $650/€700/£630 for the base 8/128GB model (the 12/256GB one is $750/€800/£730). It is available in America, Europe and India.
If we talk about India, the base model is priced at 50,000 rubles, the OnePlus 10R (80W variant) is now 35,000 rubles. If you want the faster 150W model (which comes with a 12/256GB memory configuration), you’ll have to shell out Rs 40,000. Note that the 10R is not yet available in Europe or the US.
The OnePlus 10 Pro starts at Rs 800/€900/£800/₹67,000 in all these markets. Is a better camera and display worth the extra money? While we’re here, let’s include the OnePlus 9 Pro (£600/€710/£630/₹50,000). It’s powered (Snapdragon 888), but has a QHD+ screen, Hasselblad camera and wireless charging.

What else can you get? Realme GT Neo 3 powered by Dimensity 8100 chipset also has a version with 150W fast charging. It has a very similar display and camera setup, but a slightly smaller battery compared to the 10T (4,500mAh vs. 4,800mAh). The 12/256GB unit is priced at €700/₹43,000.
The Realme GT2 Pro comes with the original Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and offers a QHD+ LTPO2 display, 50+50+3MP cameras and 65W charging (wired only). It is priced at €750/₹50,000 for the 8/128GB unit. The GT2 Explorer has yet to hit the road outside of China.

The Poco F4 GT with original 8 Gen 1 chip, FHD+ non-LTPO display, 64+8+2MP camera and 120W charger can be picked up in Europe (8/128GB) for €550.
This model is not available in India, but the Redmi K50i is an affordable Dimensity 8100 phone – just Rs 29,000 for the 8/256GB unit. It has a 6.6-inch 144Hz LCD, 64+8+2MP cameras and a 5,080mAh battery with 67W charging. The Xiaomi 12S Pro will be a more powerful threat, but we don’t know when it will be available globally or how much it will cost. The non-S 12 Pro is more expensive at €900/₹67,000.

Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro offers Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 power at $800/€800/₹48,000 (12/256GB). Its OLED display has FHD+ resolution, but has a high refresh rate of 144Hz. This also combines a 50MP primary with a 50MP ultra-wide camera, with 68W charging for a 4,800mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S22+ is €1,000/€1,050 for the 8/128GB unit. You will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in some regions, Exynos 2200 in other regions. Its FHD+ display lacks the variable refresh rate of LTPO panels. A 50MP main camera is paired with a 12MP ultra wide and 10MP 3x telephoto. Charging for the 4,500mAh battery is on the slow side, even at 45W. However, software support is unmatched on Android.
