A new report based on an investor note says Apple may be ahead of schedule with its devices. The new leak confirms previous leaks from various sources that Apple is working on a 20.3-inch foldable hybrid device, followed by a foldable iPhone.
However, these reports indicate that Apple will be ready with a foldable in early 2026-2027, while the most recent one suggests that the device will be released as early as 2025. Following the supply chain routes, the technology company will be ready. Mass production in late 2025, which means the device will launch in late 2025 or early 2026.
The hybrid device will be the first in Apple's new lineup and won't be called an iPad or MacBook. It will also target the ultra-premium market segment.
Of course, a foldable iPhone is also in the works and Apple is said to be preparing two sizes – 7.9″ and 8.3″. These could go into mass production a year later at the end of 2026.
We all know that the Cupertino-based company is trying to break into the foldable market, but this is the best prediction we've ever seen. Only time will tell if Apple can pull it off.
