More than 100 new podcasts from major apps and services launched on Apple Podcasts
Subscribers to Apple Music, Apple News+ and participating apps like Calm and Lingokids can link their subscriptions to get new shows and more.
Apple Podcasts is the best place for listeners to discover, enjoy and support their favorite podcasts, featuring millions of shows covering every topic — and with iOS 17, the service will be even more intuitive and useful. New features include a revamped player with full-screen artwork, streamlined queues, section art, interactive widgets, search filters with more detailed results, standby, and the ability for users to link their subscriptions to specific favorite apps.
Starting today, subscribers to Apple Music, Apple News+, Kalim and LingoKids can access more than 2,500 music-rich episodes from Apple Music Radio, including more than 60 original podcasts. New shows from top apps and services will launch every week this fall. With the ability to link subscriptions to top apps, Apple Podcasts will be the best way for listeners to access a wide variety of premium audio content – podcasts, news briefs, narrated articles, radio shows with full music, educational courses, guided meditations, sleep sounds, and much more – all in one. Apple Music is home to hundreds of original shows featuring the world’s best artists and tastemakers, and our listeners love them. “There really is something for everyone, which is why we’re excited to make it all available on Apple Podcasts, so subscribers can follow their favorites, save episodes to their library, get notified when new episodes are released, and listen offline on their devices.”

Connecting subscriptions
Listeners with in-app subscriptions to eligible apps will automatically connect to their subscriptions the next time they open Apple Podcasts. Listeners can manually link their subscription by logging into their account from the app’s channel page on Apple Podcasts. Subscribers can listen to AirPods on their favorite Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, HomePod, CarPlay, and Apple Watch.
Finding scenes
Once a subscription is connected, listeners can browse all available podcasts from the Library tab. On each channel page, listeners can learn more about each show, and can watch any show for free, get live downloads, and be notified of new episodes. New episodes will appear in the Now Listening tab next to Up, where listeners will get personalized recommendations based on their active subscriptions and anonymous listening. Listeners can browse editorially curated recommendations on the navigation and view the most popular free and subscription shows on Apple’s podcast charts.
New shows from top apps
Starting next month, listeners can link their subscriptions to Apple podcasts from Bloomberg, Curio, L’Equipe, Mamamia, Sleep Cycle, The Economist, The Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, WELT News and Zen.
