Neither phone (1) is available for sale in the US yet, but you can get it through official channels as part of Not’s US-based beta testing program. This is paid for by testing nothing OS 1.5 (based on Android 13), but a network coverage test.
Here’s the deal: For $300 you can get an 8/128GB phone (1) for trial, though note that there’s no warranty or after-sales service. You can return the phone within 14 days for a refund, but only if it’s not damaged. The beta program ends on June 30, and participants can keep it after the call ends.
If you’re planning to use it as a daily driver rather than as a beta unit, there’s a problem – something is being discussed with US carriers but not yet agreed upon. This means that some services are not available (eg VoLTE and VoWiFi do not work on AT&T).
There’s also a technical issue — the phone (1) was originally intended only for Europe and Asia, so it lacks support for most of the 5G bands used in the US. See the Beta Membership FAQ for more details. Long story short, the T-Mobile N41 is the only 5G band supported, so even if nothing works with the carrier, the coverage will be spotty. Compatibility with Verizon is “very limited”.
If you’re still interested in trying one out, you can sign up for the Nothing OS 1.5 beta here. Shipping will take 5-7 days and as far as we understand the white color option is not available and other memory configurations are available.
