In some regions like the US and Canada, the Samsung Galaxy A35 is the highest-end A-phone you can get – but is it worth getting? For the price, it's a solid choice, as Will explains in our video review.
Compared to last year's model, the 2024 phone brings a more powerful chipset, a premium Gorilla Glass Victus+ front (now there's glass on the back too), and improvements to the screen and speakers. The video goes into detail about the improvements (as well as some areas where the phone still doesn't exist).
A35 gets the second Samsung software support – not 7 years of S-series flagships, but 4 OS updates and 5 years of maintenance, still better than most of the competition. And if you like a UI, you know what you're getting (well, without the new AI features).
The Samsung Galaxy A55 has some advantages over its sibling, including the new Exynos mid-range chip with an aluminum frame and AMD graphics. Expect a full review soon. For our readers in the US and Canada, check out our Galaxy S23 FE video review as Samsung offers an option for those looking for something more than the A35.
